Non-verbal learning disorder is defined as a condition that is characterized by significant discrepancy between high verbal but lower performance aggregate on IQ tests with weaknesses in motor, visual and social skills. Some medical practitioners believe that this discrepancy can be attributed to dysfunction of the right cerebral hemisphere.
